Flex-Mat screen media

The individual wires vibrate freely up to 6,000–10,000 times per minute. The result is faster separation, a longer service life and a screen that does not blind.

1

Faster separation

Vibration is an essential factor in screening material. Thanks to it, coarse material stays on top and fine material falls through.

With static screen media (e.g. woven wire, polyurethane or rubber screens), only the screen frame causes vibration, typically 500–1,000 times per minute. The individual wires of FLEX-MAT screens vibrate freely up to 6,000–10,000 times per minute.

FLEX-MAT speeds up the separation process by screening more material in the same time than its competitors.

2

Longer service life

The wear resistance of FLEX-MAT wire screens is better than that of woven wire screens, and depending on the application they also outlast polyurethane and rubber screens.

Wear is distributed evenly over the whole surface of the screen, unlike woven screens, which wear mostly at the raised crossing points. Because of this, the opening size also stays correct longer with Flex-Mat. A longer service life reduces downtime and maintenance costs.

3

No blinding, no sticking

Thanks to the vibrating wires, the screen does not blind and even damp material does not stick to it. Rain, snow and frost are not a problem either. Self-cleaning FLEX-MAT screens therefore improve production capacity and reduce maintenance stoppages.

Try it, and you won't go back to other self-cleaning screens.

Vibration analysis

Flex-Mat Sensor

Analyse your screen's performance in real time on a smartphone

Flex-Mat Sensor is a new vibration analysis device for quickly measuring screening efficiency and monitoring how the screen performs. It lets us easily measure the vibration of the screen, and based on the data collected you can adjust the screen's operation on the fly without stopping it.

This groundbreaking novelty makes work more efficient and reduces the need for maintenance. With alternative analysis methods, collecting the data takes at least hours.

During an analysis visit, the Flex-Mat Sensor is placed briefly to take measurements at each corner of your screening machine. The Sensor connects wirelessly to a smartphone app, where the results appear immediately in a report that is also easy to save and share.

Flex-Mat Sensor measures, among other things, vibration velocity, impact and the stroke of the motion. With the data collected it is easy to adjust and optimise the screen's operation without stopping the machine.
