Longer service life with the same wire diameter
We use Major-brand Optimumwire® wire to manufacture our woven screens. It is top-quality, highly wear-resistant screen wire whose high carbon and manganese content makes the wire hard, strong and tough at the same time.
The manufacturer states that Optimumwire lasts up to 40% longer than traditional woven wire of the same diameter. A longer service life means fewer screen changes and fewer costly stoppages.

Why Optimumwire?
Resists wear and impact
Hard yet tough wire withstands abrasive material and does not break easily under heavy impact loads.
Accurate opening size
The opening tolerance is ±3%, so material passes through the screen consistently throughout its service life.
Tight weave
The wires are woven so that there is no play in the weave. The wires do not rub against each other in use, which extends the screen's life.
Consistent wire
In larger diameters, true hard-drawn wire is used. The diameter of traditional rod wire varies along its length, which makes the weave uneven.
Many users have been able to move to a wire diameter one size smaller without losing service life. This increases the open area of the screen.
Choose the weave to match the application
Square
For general use and precise screening. Opening size 2.36–152.4 mm.
Double-Weave
For heavy-duty use and high impact loads. The manufacturer states it withstands up to 4 times more impact force than a heavier single-strand woven screen. Opening size 31.75–127 mm.
Slotted
Removes fines effectively and has more open area than square. Suits round and cubical material. Sized to need.
HyperSlot
Vibration reduces blinding, and tumbling of the material helps fines removal. Slows the material down, leaving more time for screening. Sized to need.
